Are there any special Eternals cameos from the Avengers or any other characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? He was heavily mentioned in the trailers, so is there an Eternals Thanos cameo appearance? How about Eternals teases for upcoming Marvel Studios projects such as Spider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Strange 2, or Blade? Every Marvel movie since Iron Man has featured a fun cameo, at least in the end credits scenes, so does Eternals?

Spoilers for Eternals follow!

Are there any Eternals cameos from other Marvel characters?

Eternals Cameos

The only Marvel character to cameo in Eternals is Blade (Mahershala Ali) and he doesn’t appear on-screen, just as a mysterious voice talking to Kit Harington’s character in the post-credits scene. He watches Harington’s Dane Whitman reach toward a sinister sword called the Ebony Blade and asks “are you sure you’re ready for that, Mr. Whitman?”

Thanos is mentioned several times, as revealed in the movie’s various trailers, mostly in the context of questioning why the Eternals didn’t assist the Avengers with the fight against him. Thanos himself does not appear, although his brother Eros (Harry Styles) actually does in the mid-credits scene of the movie. The Avengers are briefly discussed, with Ikaris (Richard Madden) suggesting he could lead them now that Iron Man and Captain America are gone. However, none of these characters actually appear, weirdly putting them on the same level as rival DC hero Superman who is also name-dropped. Therefore, Blade is the only Marvel character to make a cameo appearance in Eternals — and he doesn’t even appear on-screen.

Elsewhere on Eternals, sadly the movie is currently sitting on the lowest Rotten Tomatoes score of any MCU movie, significantly poorer than the new Guardians of the Galaxy game. As for the rest of the MCU, the new Morbius trailer this week offered a few big hints towards the events of next month’s Spider-Man: No Way Home.
