343 Wants *Your* Ideas on How to Improve Halo The Master Chief Collection

Halo The Master Chief Collection is back. No, really!  343 has worked tirelessly to bring a soft reboot of sorts to the game – and now it needs your help with forging a path forward.

Back in January, 343 were keen to point out that “[they] are excited to foster a new relationship with our fans” and now those efforts have bore fruit. Community Manager Brian Jarrard reached out to fans on the Halo Waypoint forums to share their ideas. However, Jarrard also confirmed that dedicated servers for all matchmade games, plus network and online improvements and an Xbox One X patch were all in the pipeline. Ambiguously, he also states that 343 have “heard” the many cries for a PC version of The Master Chief Collection.

It’s not often that a game that screws up so badly upon release gets a second chance. 343, though, look to be putting both feet forward when it comes to feedback – and opening a dialogue which all can contribute to is the best way to achieve that. A quick sweep at the replies would indicate that a UI overhaul, a ‘join in progress’ option, and a HD version of ODST Firefight are all top of the list for many. Cheekily, Halo 3 Anniversary keeps being requested. Keep shooting your shot, guys.

So, what are you waiting for? It’s not often you get to have your voice heard so clearly. Put your thinking Spartan helmets on and you (yes, you) could be responsible for improving the quality-of-life and general awesomeness of The Master Chief Collection. Or, at the very least, you can ask for a Halo-themed Battle Royale mode. I hear they’re quite popular.
