The latest Animal Crossing: New Horizons game update set the stage for a whole host of upcoming events, and there’s no prize for guessing which one Blathers the owl is looking forward to most. Nintendo’s Animal Crossing: New Horizons International Museum Day event is set to kick off in May and, despite what its name might seem to suggest, continue for almost a fortnight thereafter.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons International Museum Day start and end date
Animal Crossing: New Horizons International Museum Day is set to introduce more culture to everybody’s island starting in May. Players will be encouraged to seek out bugs, fossils, and fish before donating them to Blathers in order to earn in-game rewards and, at the same time, build a better museum display. The fun kicks off on Monday, May 18, and runs through the end of the month on Sunday, May 31.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons International Museum Day stamps
You can fill out a stamp card by obtaining and then donating certain insects, fish, and fossils found throughout New Horizons during the International Museum Day Animal Crossing celebrations. You’ll seemingly need to visit new stamping stations placed in the museum in order to claim any stamps you’ve earned as part of Blathers’ Stamp Rally.
As you can see in the above screenshot, collecting stamps earns rewards, so it’ll definitely be worth devoting the necessary time to do so.
