Let's help this Youtube user break his user agreement by watching this Battlefield 3 alpha gameplay! Seriously, start viewing. The sooner he gets banned from the alpha the sooner you and I can join in!

Having played the Operation Metro map, I can say that the open area in the beginning feels completely different from the underground bits. My only hope is that the multiplayer really opens up and includes varying vehicles. As much as I loved running around in that LAV tank, I'd like to have fighter jets and helicopters confirmed, along with slightly more open-ended maps and game modes.
