Assassin's Creed Unity presents one of the most gorgeous game worlds in this industry, particularly thanks to the franchise's history and the work done to the Assassin's Creed engine powering Paris, so it's no wonder that Ubisoft would want to continue fixing and tinkering under the hood after release.
The third patch for Assassin's Creed Unity improves stability, fixes gameplay bugs, fixes AI and crowd issues, and aims to make it easier to meet other players for in-game missions. Here's a full list of some of the more important fixes made to the Anvil engine in this update:
- Fixed numerous random crashes in Campaign and Co-op modes
- Various navigation issues where players could get stuck have been fixed
- Various animation, detection, and crowd station issues have been addressed
- Matchmaking and connectivity have received several fixes including join-in-progress and issues regarding host and client connections
- Customization menus, localization inconsistencies, mission objectives, and issues with the credits have been addressed
- Save game corruption, temporal blur from SLI graphics cards, and other UI improvements have been addressed too
