The true Suicide Squad game villain may have been revealed as none other than Superman’s arch-enemy Lex Luthor, which would make a lot of sense. At the very least, a Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Lex Luthor tease has now been posted by Rocksteady’s Sefton Hill in the first official in-game screenshot of the upcoming DC game, in advance of its full reveal at the DC Fandome event tomorrow.
Has the Suicide Squad game villain been teased as Lex Luthor?
Lex Luthor being directly involved in the events of Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League seems to be likely, given the new tease just released in advance of the game’s DC Fandome appearance. The new in-game screenshot posted by Rocksteady creative director and co-founder Sefton Hill shows the four members of the Suicide Squad standing in LexCorp, judging by the logo on a vat of mysterious green liquid.
Given the Suicide Squad game is set entirely in Metropolis and the initial trailer reveal from last year showed a LexCorp logo from afar and, of course, Superman, the further involvement of LexCorp in the events seems to point at Lex Luthor being a character in the game. Lex Luthor made a voiceover appearance in a Batman: Arkham Knight Easter egg, and Rocksteady is well known for teasing its next games inside previous games.

Fortunately fans don’t have long to find out if this is the case, as Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League and fellow DC title Gotham Knights will be at the DC Fandome event tomorrow — with new trailers and presumably gameplay, and maybe even a release date too. The next Batman x Fortnite crossover will be revealed too, which may come with the announcement of The Batman Who Laughs as the next skin for the battle royale as well as a possible crossover with The Batman movie.
