A load of DC Fandome trailer Easter eggs have been spotted that give a good look at the projects coming the October 16 event, including the first-ever Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League gameplay and the first Dwayne Johnson Black Adam footage. There’s also a new look at the Gotham Knights villains the Court of Owls’ Talons and a look at the Peacemaker Vigilante character for The Suicide Squad spin-off.
All DC Fandome trailer Easter eggs
Here is everything revealed in the DC Fandome trailer, including Easter eggs:
First Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League gameplay
Fans already knew that Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad would be at the event and were hoping for gameplay, as the previous trailer was all CGI. This trailer shows the first-ever look at Suicide Squad running in-game and the actual character models, which looks very close to the CGI trailer. They seem to be shooting at a bus embedded in the ground, and are looking at something that has them all interested.
First look at Dwayne Johnson as Black Adam
Black Adam starring Dwayne Johnson is the next DC movie after The Batman, but there hasn’t been any footage from the movie released so far. A very brief shot of The Rock turning his head with dramatic lighting is the first showing of Shazam’s ultimate villain. Black Adam comes out in July.
Gotham Knights Talons vs Batgirl
The original trailer ended with a look at The Court of Owls, the main villains of Gotham Knights, as well as a very brief shot of one of their undead Talon enforcers. The new trailer shows Batgirl fleeing from a bunch of Talons in what appears to be a cutscene, alongside a cool shot of Red Hood on a bat-bike pulling up to Nightwing.
Vigilante in Peacemaker HBO Max series
The trailer also gives the first look at the DC anti-hero Vigilante/Adrian Chase (Freddie Stroma) in costume alongside Peacemaker (John Cena) in his The Suicide Squad spin-off series coming in January. Vigilante last appeared in the Arrow CW series with a very different look.
Fortnite/The Batman crossover teased
Sadly there’s nothing substantial in the trailer but it does tease the next Fortnite/Batman crossover, which may be a tie-in with The Batman movie. There are several shots from the Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point comic, including Catwoman, but they are all outfits that already feature in the game.
The Flash movie behind-the-scenes looks
There are a few scenes from The Flash movie shown off, including a crime lab which is presumably where Barry Allen (Ezra Miller) works at the Central City police department — the same as in the TV show.
The video ends with the confirmation that the new The Batman trailer will appear, and maybe the movie’s various spin-off series will get announced too. One person not shown in the trailer is NetherRealm head Ed Boon, who will be there and many are hoping will be revealing Injustice 3.
