There’s a debate going on about whether Final Fantasy 16 has too many cutscenes. In recent years, gaming as a whole has shied away from FMVs and in-game cutscenes in favor of allowing the player to keep control of their character (or at least the camera) during conversations. However, FF16 takes a different approach, which is jarring to some.
