Final Fantasy 16 Electrum Location Severian Hunt

Final Fantasy 16 Electrum Location: How to Craft Drakeslayer’s Belt

Finding the location of Electrum in Final Fantasy 16 isn’t easy. Unlike the basic crafting materials, this substance can only be found in a single place. Odds are, you’ll start looking for Electrum after completing Blacksmith’s Blues. After that quest, you get the blueprint for Drakeslayer’s Belt, which requires the substance to craft it.

Unfortunately, there’s no hint about how to get Electrum in FF16, so you’re forced to scour the land in search of it.

Where to find Electrum location in Final Fantasy 16

There’s only one source for Electrum in Final Fantasy 16: the Severian hunt. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to hunt Severian immediately if you complete Blacksmith Blues at the earliest possible opportunity (right after starting “Here Be Monsters”). Instead, you have to wait until you start the main quest, “After the Storm.”

Once the hunt is posted to the board, you’ll get a clue as to its location:

“A particularly belligerent breed of echo has recently awakened amid the Fallen ruins near Martha’s Rest. It is known to activate on the approach of any human, armed or unarmed, and sets about them with a burning jet that has already reduced much of the surrounding marshland to ash. This is one echo that the Cursebreakers would fain see forever silenced.”

To find Severian in FF16, just head west out of Martha’s rest, then northwest around Sorrowise. Predictably, you’ll find Severian in the middle of an area containing Fallen ruins.

You shouldn’t have too much trouble with this fight. Watch for Severian’s Eradicate attack and be ready to dodge. Once you take it down, it’ll drop the one piece of Electrum you need to craft Drakeslayer’s Belt.

Take note that despite being a daunting foe, Severian doesn’t respawn after defeat, so you only get one shot at obtaining Electrum. However, this single piece is enough to fulfill the requirement for crafting the Drakeslayer’s Belt.
