You’ll be given the chance to find the location of the Soul Stingers around two-thirds of the way through Final Fantasy 16. This Rank C Notorious Mark isn’t too difficult to take down, but finding the Souls Stingers can be tricky. Fortunately, the clue you get in the board listing is enough to track it down.
Where to find Soul Stingers in Final Fantasy 16
To find the location of the Soul Stingers in Final Fantasy 16, you’ll need first to consult the listing on the hunt board. You can find it after you complete the main quest Out of the Shadow:
“A swarm of vicious vilekin has of late made its nest near an abandoned village in the Fields of Corava, and as the hive has grown, so too has its hunger. Already, the stripped corpses of breat beasts have been sighted in its vicinity. Should the vilekin be left to their own devices, the nearby settlements shall surely be reduced to naught by a collection of bleached bones within a twelvemoon.”
Luckily, the description tells you exactly where you need to go: the Fields of Corava.
To get there:
- Fast travel to The Dalimil Inn
- Head south through the Doeznov Terraces.
- When you come to the fork, go southeast through The Sickle.
- You’ll eventually reach The Fields of Corava.
- Look for the Soul Stingers in the northeast part of the fields.
You should be able to see the Soul Stingers buzzing about from a distance. When you approach them, a small cutscene will play, and the fight will start.
How to beat the Soul Stingers in FF16
Beating the Soul Stingers in Final Fantasy 16 is extremely easy. There are a few of them, so if you want to make things easier, use area-of-effect attacks. However, it doesn’t really matter what you do because you’d have to try and lose at this point in the game. Keep your HP up; these overgrown wasps will go down quickly.
