Sons of the Forest Virginia

Sons of the Forest Virginia Disappeared, Stuck, and Gone Fix

The Sons of the Forest Virginia disappearing bug is a common problem. Unfortunately, this three-armed, three-legged woman also has a habit of getting stuck or just being gone from your side. While this can happen due to a glitch, there’s actually a reason why Virginia goes missing most of the time. Luckily, there are several ways to get your companion back.

How to get Sons of the Forest Virginia back

If Virginia disappears in Sons of the Forest, you can get her back by passing time, reloading your game, or going back to a prior save file.

The typical reason why Virginia goes missing is because you accidentally hit her with an attack, triggering her to run away from you continually to the other end of the map. Sleeping for one full day (or two full days just to be sure), or saving and reloading the game, will usually make Virginia reappear by your side in a few minutes. That’s because it will take a while for her to run back to your side.

Worst case scenario, you’ll have to use a backup save file and reload it to a point where she’s still friendly and by your side. Given that Sons of the Forest is still in Early Access, this bug will hopefully be patched soon by Endnight Games.
