- Plant two of the same flower species (roses, pansies, etc.) one space apart in the ground
- Water the plants frequently to keep them healthy
- Eventually, a new flower will grow in the space you left between the two original flowers
- The color of your “parent” flowers will dictate what color the new hybrid is
You can scale up this process as much as you’d like; as long as there’s still a space between each pair of flowers you’re looking to hybridize, you can potentially create whole fields of new crossbred flowers at the same time.
