How to crossbreed plants in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
- Plant two of the same flower species (roses, pansies, etc.) one space apart in the ground
- Water the plants frequently to keep them healthy
- Eventually, a new flower will grow in the space you left between the two original flowers
- The color of your “parent” flowers will dictate what color the new hybrid is
You can scale up this process as much as you’d like; as long as there’s still a space between each pair of flowers you’re looking to hybridize, you can potentially create whole fields of new crossbred flowers at the same time.
Part of the fun in the process is experimenting to see which combinations make what colors, so we’ll leave you to discover those for yourself. Just don’t forget to keep those plants watered!
