Tell GR: Do You Trust Video Game Leaks?

Tomorrow on episode three of the Cross-Play podcast, our team discusses the ethics of video game leaks and their thoughts on industry insiders. With so many leaks taking place these days, and games rarely being announced without us knowing at least some information about them, leaks are a hot topic and we’re going to go into great detail during tomorrow’s show.

While leaks give us plenty to talk about, the gaming industry has recently seen a variety of individuals claiming to be “insiders” seemingly making up predictions and passing them off as inside knowledge, making it difficult to separate reality from rumors. GR’s Dan Thompson recently covered this in a feature, with insiders discussing their thoughts on false leakers and how they affect the industry.

So what do you think? Do you trust video game leaks when you read them / hear about them, do you remain cautious, or are you eternally pessimistic? What have been some leaks that you didn’t trust but ended up being true, and vice versa? As always, let us know in the comments section below!
