Side by Side – Skylanders vs. Disney Infinity vs. LEGO Dimensions

It's long been the goal of toymakers to have their creations be as real and as alive as possible, from talking dolls with pull-strings and action figures, to electronic toys that move and react to external stimulus.

Video games have given virtual life to this impulse with the toys-to-life genre, and most prominently with three specific series: Skylanders, Disney Infinity, and the soon-to-be-released LEGO Dimensions.

Star Citizen is an upcoming space trading and combat simulator video game for Microsoft Windows. Star Citizen will consist of two main components: first person space combat and trading in a massively multiplayer persistent universe and customizable private servers (known as Star Citizen), and a branching single-player game (known as Squadron 42). The game will also feature VR support.
