Buy, Try, Die: July 2015 Release List

Normally, I open these BTD features with an image of some hotly anticipated title, but Comic-Con trumps them all. Taking place next week from July 9-12, San Diego Comic-Con International 2015 will be host to plenty of gaming and general geekery, and our writer Jeb Haught will be covering the show floor and other Comic-Con exhibits throughout the convention.

Now this doesn't mean there aren't any games worth looking forward to this month: the indie fighters Yatagarasu and Skullgirls 2nd Encore, the fourth episode for Life Is Strange, and the free-to-play Magic Duels: Origins. Wizards of the Coast is finally learning from its competitors, namely Hex: Shards of Fate, and updating the Planewalkers to modern times.

I was equally impressed with Feist, a game clearly inspired by Limbo but could actually live up to that comparison, as well as (surprisingly) Rory McIlroy PGA Tour which has significantly improved loading times and an arcade-style Night Golf. We also can't forget the remasters for God of War III and Legend of Kay; perhaps unnecessary but there they are.
