Atomic Heart Female Robot Twin

Atomic Heart’s Female Robot Twin Looks a Lot Like Ukraine’s Former Prime Minister

It’s come to light that the female robot twin featured prominently in marketing leading up to the release of Atomic Heart, as well as being a character in the game itself, is similar in appearance to Ukraine’s former prime minister, Yulia Tymoshenko.

The female robot twin bodyguard from Atomic Heart appears to be based on Yulia Tymoshenko, the leader of the Batkivshchyna party in Ukraine. The character sports an uncommon hairstyle that is very similar to Tymoshenko’s.

This similarity was pointed out on Twitter by Dinka Kay, who realized the similarities between the two and compiled a collection of images to help showcase the resemblance.

At the time of publishing, the developers at Mundfish have not yet responded to the observations made by @DinkaKay.

Mundfish is currently under a lot of scrutiny with questions remaining over its Russian origins and funding (via Eurogamer). What’s more, Ukraine is now asking for Atomic Heart to be banned and has reached out to Sony, Microsoft, and Valve in the hopes of making it happen (via Gagadget).

In other Atomic Heart news, the PC version of the game seems to be having stuttering issues, and players have been noting disappearing items.
