Console Modders Get Grand Theft Auto V to Run in First-Person View

Rockstar Games announced that Grand Theft Auto V would be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC at E3 2014, but that hasn't stopped some Xbox 360 gamers from using hacked systems to alter the game's code ahead of the PC release.

The latest modded-console… uh, mod puts you in the skulls of each of the game's heroes and that's a truly terrible thing if you know anything about the psychopaths running around Los Santos these days. Actually, the mod seems a little rough around the edges, but it does offer a wildly different view on the game's world.

The video above shows off a variety of vehicles and an unfortunate sidewalk-stomping, but Youtube user XBLToothPik also has another video that shows the mod's menu implementation and a little running around as Franklin.

While XBLToothPik's mod will certainly prove easier to use on PC, I don't think I could play the whole game this way. If mods like this have easily altered the console version of Grand Theft Auto V, will the PC version prove even easier to mod than Grand Theft Auto IV?
