Dark Souls II Ships Over One Million

Namco Bandai Holdings Inc. revealed via their annual financial earnings report that they shipped over 1.2 million copies of the From Software RPG Dark Souls II to retail worldwide.

GameRevolution awarded Dark Souls II 4.5/5 stars, praising the game's softer learning curve and its rewarding exploration. Nick Tan wrote our review, stating "Dark Souls II is more refined and somehow more challenging than its predecessor" which should certainly help maintain the franchise's momentum moving forward.

Bandai Namco games also shipped 700,000 copies of God Eater 2, over 600,000 copies of Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z and 500,000 copies of Disney Magical World (Disney Magic Castle My Happy Life) to Eastern gamers alone. That Disney life-sim game was published by Nintendo in the West.
