New Video Games April 27th, 2014 – Mario Golf, Kirby, Spider-Man, & More

This week's new releases swing into action on 3DS, PS3, and next-gen platforms. See what I did there? Maybe I should have warned you be-fore that. All these puns really suck…. OK that's enough, here's the list:

Mario Golf: World Tour | 3DS | Nintendo | May 2nd, 2014 | $34.99

Mario and company hit the links in yet another golf game, this time for Nintendo 3DS. The big hook in this latest iteration of the long-lasting sports franchise is that players have a multitude of online options. Nintendo is even offering a season pass for the game. Nick Tan is on the review and will post shortly.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 | PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, 3DS | Activision | April 29th, 2014 | $59.99 – $49.99 – $29.99

Sony's latest Spidey flick is arriving in US theaters on May 2nd, though it's been out for a few weeks internationally. If you're dying to get a taste of the movie in advance of your midnight show, Activision has you covered. The Xbox One version of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has been delayed. Check out this trailer featuring the game's various villains while you wait for our review, wall crawlers.

Kirby: Triple Deluxe | 3DS | Nintendo | May 2nd, 2014 | $34.99

Kirby's fighting mechanics and action-oriented platforming offset the measured pace of Mario Golf, so if you're a 3DS owner you have a difficult choice to make… How are you going to go without food to buy both? Our review for this new Kirby adventure will run tomorrow.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle | PS3 | Namco Bandai | April 29th, 2014 | $49.99

This manga-adapted brawler gives players a choice between eight different story arcs. If you're a fan of the comics, you'll probably love jumping into the manga pages for this fighter.

Child of Light | PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, PC | Ubisoft | April 29th, 2014 | $14.99

Ubisoft's puzzle-platformer Child of Light has a distinct visual style and a storybook quality to it that should pair nicely with all the hyper-violence readily available on Xbox One and PS4. We'll have a review ready for you tomorrow.

Rambo: The Video Game | PS3, Xbox 360, PC | Reef Entertainment Ltd | April 29th, 2014 | $39.99

You know there are better shooters than this to play… but if you're all about Rambo, be my guest.

Gardening Mama 2: Forest Friends | 3DS | Majesco | April 29th, 2014 | $29.96

I don't know what it is, but I could totally play this game right now. Damn Earth Day making me feel guilty for not planting stuff.

Daylight | PC | Atlus | April 29th, 2014 | $9.99

This procedurally generated horror game from Atlus will trap you in a hospital with just your phone. Shit. My battery is almost dead! Luckily, Pauly T is on the review for GameRevolution.

BloodRayne Betrayal | PC | Midnight City | April 30th, 2014

This game has been out on consoles for a while, but PC gamers can finally try the 2D hacking and slashing as femme fatale, Rayne. Check out our original review here.

Croixleu Sigma | PC | Nyu Media | April 30th, 2014

M.A.V. | PC | Bombdog Studios | May 1st, 2014

Farming World | PC | Excalibur | May 2nd, 2014

What are ya buyin'?
