Take-Two Not Interested in Wii U: “If They’re Buying Hardware, We’ll Be There With Software”

Don't expect to see Grand Theft Auto V or any other game published by Take-Two on Nintendo's tablet-centric console any time soon, as the company has made it clear it currently has no intention of supporting Wii U.

In a recent interview with GamesIndustry, CEO Strauss Zelnick explained why Take-Two isn't giving Wii U the time of day. "Our strategy is to meet consumers where they are," he explained. "If they're buying hardware, we'll be there with software. That said, we make these really big, AAA titles that work on some platforms, but not others."

It doesn't look like Wii U's third-party problem is going away any time soon. Do you think the Big N will be able to rise above this issue and find a way to achieve success with its struggling home console?
