EA On Wii U: “Nintendo Was Dead To Us Very Quickly”

Nintendo doesn't currently have a very great relationship with mega-publisher Electronic Arts, and much of that has to do with its latest home console, the Wii U.

According to CVG, a source at EA revealed that it didn't take long for the company to realize that it didn't have much interest in supporting Nintendo's console, saying, "Nintendo was dead to us very quickly."

The source went on to add, "It became a kids IP platform and we don't really make games for kids. That was pretty true across the other labels too. Even the Mass Effect title on Wii U, which was a solid effort, could never do big business, and EA like Activision is only focused on games that can be big franchises."

What can Nintendo do to win back third-party publishers like EA? Is all hope lost at this point?
