The Nintendo Switch is going to receive a slew of GameCube remasters various insiders have either outright claimed or implied. According to one insider, multiple high-profile remasters are either already in development or are being considered by Nintendo.
Nintendo is ‘going crazy’ with GameCube remasters
Discussion surrounding Nintendo Switch GameCube remasters first surfaced following a tweet by Liam Robertson, a YouTube creator with a track record of insider information.
Robertson tweeted the following…

…which prompted Direct-Feed Games, an account belonging to insider NateDrake, to imply that an F-Zero GX remaster could be on its way:

Robertson then responded: “As much as I know what you’re getting at, I don’t think we’re on the same page here. There’s a lot of GC love coming.”
Over on the Famiboard forum (via Reddit), insider Emily Rogers was notably less vague, outright claiming that Nintendo is currently developing a whole bunch of GameCube remasters.
“No, it’s true. Nintendo is going crazy with remasters and remakes,” Rogers wrote. “Most of the remasters mentioned in this thread are either in development or under serious consideration at Nintendo.”
The games mentioned in the thread included F-Zero GX, Metroid Prime, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Wind Waker, and Pikmin 1 and 2. The Legend of Zelda GameCube remasters games are also allegedly set to appear during a Nintendo Direct this month.
In other news, Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s ‘Forty Thieves’ DLC recently leaked online. It was also revealed that Splatoon 3’s online tick rate is worse than its predecessors’.
