Pokemon Go will be getting more Ultra Beasts later this year when they make an appearance at a trio of Pokemon GO Fest events across the world. Each event will get its own Ultra Beast that will be part of the Special Research, but they will be available worldwide later on in the Season of GO.
Ultra Beasts are coming to three Pokemon GO Fest events
Three more Ultra Beasts will be coming to Pokemon GO Fest events in Berlin, Seattle, and Sapporo later this year. Pheromosa will make an appearance at Berlin between July 1-3. Later on that month, Buzzwole will be coming to Seattle between July 22-24. Finally, Xurkitree will join the game a month later between August 5-7 at Sapporo. Those of you who can’t get to the aforementioned events will be glad to know the trio will be available worldwide later in the Season of GO, although Niantic didn’t specify exactly when this would be.
Nihilego was the first Ultra Beast to make their appearance at a Pokemon GO Fest event earlier this month. They make their way from Ultra Space into our world through Ultra Wormholes that appear in the sky, but this journey makes them fairly combative. Even when defeated, the Ultra Beasts are difficult to catch as most Poke Balls don’t recognize them. As such, Rhi of the GO Ultra Recon Squad has created Beast Balls specifically for catching these special Pokemon and a limited number of them are coming to Pokemon Go as part of the Special Research during the three events.
The Ultra Beasts aren’t the only Pokemon that will be making special appearances at the events. Cowboy Hat Snorlax will also be appearing in the wild throughout all three events. Unown A, B, E, L, R, S, T, and U will also be at the Pokemon Go Fest events, although it’s unknown whether all of the forms will be at all of the events.
In other gaming news, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will be getting an Expansion Pass with DLC starting on launch day. Elsewhere, the Daily section of the Fall Guys Item store was taken down temporarily earlier today but now seems to be back.
