The first wave of courses have been released from the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass. While the pass aims to double the number of tracks available within the game, only the first eight released today have been confirmed. However, a datamine has managed to find a banner for the Mario Kart Booster Course Pass that seems to have leaked more of the DLC tracks that will be coming in the future.
What tracks are included in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass?
The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass includes a total of 48 tracks. These will be released in six waves of eight tracks up until the end of 2023. The first wave of courses that were released today, March 18, include Wii Coconut Mall, N64 Choco Mountain, 3DS Toad Circuit, GBA Sky Garden, DS Shroom Ridge, and three tracks from Mario Kart Tour on mobile: Tokyo Blur, Paris Promenade and Ninja Hideaway. Players also got the Golden Dash Cup and the Lucky Cat Cup today.
Nintendo is yet to confirm any of the remaining 40 tracks, but a banner released to promote the Booster Course Pass seems to show some of those that will be added at a later date. As noticed by ResetEra, Twitter user Joshua ‘NantenJex’ Goldie identified images of several tracks including:
- Sydney Sprint (Tour)
- LA Laps (Tour)
- Mario Circuit (SNES)
- Koopa Cape (Wii)
- Rainbow Road (3DS)
- Vanilla Lake (SNES)
- New York Minute (Tour)
- Sunset Wilds (GBA)
- Maple Treeway (Wii)
- Merry Mountain (Tour)
- Vancouver Velocity (Tour)
- Shy Guy Bazaar (3DS)
- DK Summit (Wii)
- Rainbow Road (Wii)
Looks like we got a datamine leak after all. Courses on here include:

Of course, the image is quite blurry in places and tracks could have been misidentified. There’s also no guarantee that plans won’t change by the end of 2023, so take this list with a large pinch of salt. If you still want to grab hold of the Booster Course Pass without knowing what’s included, you can purchase the pass from the Nintendo eShop. Alternatively, those who subscribe to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack will get all the DLC included with their membership.
In other news, GameStop’s losses have become so bad they’re starting to consider a future with NFTs and cryptocurrency included. Elsewhere, Gran Turismo 7 is getting review bombed on Metacritic after a 24 hour period where the servers were down and a controversial update that reduced credit rewards on many events.
