The four titles coming to Games with Gold next month have been announced. The Xbox Games with Gold games for March 2022 are The Flame in the Flood and Street Power Soccer for Xbox One, as well as Sacred 2: Fallen Angel and SpongeBob: Truth or Square for Xbox 360.
Four Upcoming Xbox Games With Gold Titles
The Flame in the Flood will be the first Xbox One title to become available on March 1. The rogue-like survival game takes place along a river in America after an apocalyptic flood has turned the wilderness into a group of islands. Scout needs to hunt for supplies, craft equipment and avoid deadly predators as she travels further down the river to stay ahead of the flood waters. The game will be available in Games with Gold until March 31.
On the same day, Sacred 2: Fallen Angel will be available for Xbox 360. After a mysterious energy source spreads throughout Ancaria, the world is left to deal with mutated creatures, destruction, terror and chaos. Light and Shadow are about to go to battle but this could destroy life as we know it. The action RPG will be available until March 15.
The second Xbox One title, Street Power Soccer, will join Games with Gold on March 16 and takes the arcade action away from the soccer pitch and into the streets. The game’s modes range from freestyle and trick shots to 3v3 matches in custom pitches across the world.This game will be available until April 15.
Finally, SpongeBob: Truth or Square will be available on Xbox 360. SpongeBob has gotten into trouble again after Mr. Krabs trusted him to keep the recipe for the Krabby Patty formula safe and he promptly lost it. He has to team up with Plankton and use his memory machine to relive the happiest moments of his life and locate the formula, but the catch is Plankton wants the formula for himself. Can it be found in time for the Krusty Krab’s Eleventy Seventh anniversary? Players will be able to find out for themselves when the game is available from March 16 until March 31.
For now, Broken Sword 5 – The Serpent’s Curse, Aerial_Knight’s Never Yield, and Band of Bugs are the current Xbox Games with Gold titles. Both Broken Sword and Band of Bugs are available to download until February 28, while Never Yield is available until March 15. Once claimed, the Xbox One games will remain in your library as long as you remain an Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber. The Xbox 360 games are yours to keep permanently.
In other news, the Min Min Super Smash Bros. amiibo is due to be released in April. The bad news is the Steve and Alex amiibos have been delayed until later in the year. Elsewhere, the Bethesda.net launcher will be retired in May although players will be able to transfer their library to Steam.
