The four titles coming to Games with Gold next month have been announced. The Xbox Games with Gold games for August 2022 are Calico and Scourgebringer for Xbox One, as well as Saints Row 2 and Monaco: What’s Yours Is Mine for Xbox 360.
Four Upcoming Xbox Games With Gold Titles for August 2022
Calico will be the first Xbox One title to become available on August 1. In a small fantasy village, the run-down cat cafe needs to be rebuilt. Players will get to choose their furniture, clothes, and decorations, as well as the pastries and animals that will attract those customers back through the door. There’s even a potion to turn your cat into a mount to transport you around the village. This game will be available in Games with Gold until August 31.
On the same day, Saints Row 2 will be available for Xbox 360, just in time for players to become familiar with the franchise before the release of Saints Row later in the month. Johnny Gat awakens from a coma to find his gang, the 3rd Street Saints, are no longer and their territory is occupied by corrupt corporate syndicates. Players need to rebuild the Saints in any way they see fit, and that’s likely going to involve a lot of chaos. The sandbox game will be available until August 15.
The second Xbox One title, Scourgebringer, will join Games with Gold on August 16. Kyhra is the deadliest warrior of her clan and she needs to explore the ever-changing dungeons of a post-apocalyptic world to find the secrets of the Scourge and redeem humanity. There are mementos of past explorers and mysteries to solve to keep moving forward, but there are plenty of enemies and bosses to send you back too. This game will be available until September 15.
Finally, Monaco: What’s Yours Is Mine will be available on Xbox 360 on the same day. Put together a team of thieves to pull off the heist of a lifetime. There are eight different characters, each with their own skills, such as the Pickpocket, the Locksmith, and the Cleaner. Players can try to take all the glory for themselves or join up with three other players for a higher chance of success. The game is available from August 16 – 31.
For now, Beasts of Maravilla Island, Relicta, and Torchlight are the current Xbox Games with Gold titles. Both Beasts of Maravilla Island and Torchlight are available to download until July 31, while Relicta is available until August 15. Once claimed, the Xbox One games will remain in your library as long as you remain an Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber. The Xbox 360 games are yours to keep permanently.
In other news, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pack Wave 2 will arrive next week. Elsewhere, the GTA 6 Vice City map should have been larger but was reduced in size to avoid crunch.
