Tecmo Koei-Developed Zelda Game For Wii U Announced

During today's Nintendo Direct, president Satoru Iwata revealed a brand-new Zelda game for Wii U. It's tentatively titled Hyrule Warriors and is being developed by the folks at Tecmo Koei.

As you may have suspected, this game combines the gameplay of Dynasty Warriors with the universe of Zelda. Iwata was careful to point out that this is not the traditional The Legend of Zelda game everyone is still eagerly anticipating. That is still coming… someday.
