A new Black Adam Super Bowl teaser trailer from none other than The Rock himself has led fans to believe the upcoming DC Comics movie might finally get its first proper reveal this weekend. Dwayne Johnson tweeted that he will be attending the pre-game show and offered a tease towards a possible Black Adam Super Bowl trailer — and given the movie’s release date is July 29, fans are due for a proper trailer.
Dwayne Johnson offers Black Adam Trailer 1 Super Bowl tease
Today, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson tweeted out that he would be attending Super Bowl LVI this coming Sunday, February 13, in some capacity for the pre-show event — and fans believe his tweet offers a significant tease that Johnson may be presenting the first proper Black Adam movie trailer at the Super Bowl show. Johnson specifically says that the event will be “electrifying” in all capitals. Black Adam’s power, like Shazam’s, is mostly based around electricity. Furthermore, the only clip of Black Adam released so far from last year’s DC Fandome notably showed the character electrocuting a soldier.
At this point in time, there are only five months to go before Black Adam’s release, so this is the usual time for a movie’s marketing to kick off. The Batman, for example, got a proper trailer at Fandome in October — five months before the movie’s release in March. Incidentally, a Black Adam trailer released this weekend could easily be shown alongside The Batman in three weeks’ time. The timing is right, however, it remains to be seen if it will actually happen or whether Dwayne Johnson is just being colorful with his language. Fans will find out this Sunday.

For more on Black Adam, it’s looking very likely that the movie may incorporate characters from The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker, and leaks suggest that the movie’s villain may be a demonic “anti-Shazam” called Sabbac — here’s everything there is to know about him.
