Could there be a Morbius Andrew Garfield Spider-Man cameo? It has just been announced that Morbius, which is a Spider-Man villain spin-off movie in the style of the popular Venom series, will be delayed once again from its release this month. The new Morbius release date isn’t until April, but following the ecstatic response from fans to Spider-Man: No Way Home last month fans are hoping that the delay is to add Andrew Garfield.

Delay causes Morbius Andrew Garfield Spider-Man rumors
The Spider-Man villain and Venom spin-off movie Morbius starring Jared Leto has been delayed once again, this time for three months. The movie was originally due out in July 2020 but had been pushed back multiple times due to the pandemic.
The official reason for the delay is Sony not wanting to interfere with Spider-Man: No Way Home’s ongoing dominance, but the rumored reasons include further concerns about COVID-19 and, more cheerfully, that the studio wants to add Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man somehow.
Probably the most positive reaction to No Way Home was the return of Andrew Garfield from The Amazing Spider-Man movies. The previous Morbius trailer has already teased connections to Spider-Man and Venom, and even features the Daily Bugle and Oscorp. While the version of Spider-Man shown in the trailer was actually Tobey Maguire’s via the PlayStation game, fans are now hoping that this latest delay is Sony acknowledging the fan reaction to Garfield’s return by putting him in Morbius somehow — perhaps even just in a post-credits scene. There was certainly supposed to be more Garfield and even Venom in No Way Home, so it’s not outside the realms of possibility — although fans likely won’t find out for sure until April.
I don't want to get my hopes built up, but with the success/positive reception that Andrew Garfield got from NWH. Maybe he could show up in Morbius. That could be one of the reasons for the delay.
