The upcoming The Batman 2022 LEGO sets have been revealed, a week before the big DC Fandome event and the debut of the brand new trailer for the eagerly-anticipated next Batman movie. The Batman LEGO Batcave set is the most interesting, showcasing a big fight involving almost all the heroes and villains of the movie — with a look at both Alfred and The Riddler wearing his creepy mask. Check out all the sets below.
The Batman 2022 LEGO sets release date: Batcave Riddler fight revealed
The revealed The Batman LEGO sets have a release date of January 1 and are:
- 76183: Batcave The Riddler face-off
- 76179: Batman and Selina Kyle/Catwoman motorcycle pursuit
- 76181: Batmobile The Penguin chase
- 42127: The Batman Batmobile Technic set
These match up with the leaks from earlier this year, with the new addition of the more complicated battery-powered LEGO Technic Batmobile. Of particular note is the Batcave set which suggests that at some point in the movie Batman (Robert Pattinson), Alfred (Andy Serkis), and Commissioner Gordon (Jeffrey Wright) will fight Catwoman (Zoe Kravitz) and Riddler (Paul Dano) at Batman’s base. Details include the first look at the bearded Alfred and a better look at The Riddler.
Holy shit balls.
Lt. James Gordon & first look at Andy Serkis' Alfred in lego form haha. Better than nothing! Also great look at a batcomputer we haven't seen yet! Batsignal too! #THEBATMAN #Batman pic.twitter.com/eM8W8O4wbj

The other sets are below and can be seen properly on the official LEGO site. The motorcycle chase between Catwoman and Batman was hinted at in the trailer, as was the Batmobile’s pursuit of The Penguin (Colin Farrell). Nonetheless, it’s cool to see both of them. The sets also seemingly confirm that Catwoman will carry a black chain as a weapon, rather than her usual whip. Presumably more will be revealed at DC Fandome next week, October 16.

The hype for the DC Fandome event is in full swing, with a new trailer showing new gameplay for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League and Gotham Knights — and it looks like there will be a crossover between Fortnite and The Batman movie too.
