Leatherface

A new-look Leatherface is coming to Dead by Daylight

Dead by Daylight has long been a horror aficionado’s go-to game. The asymmetrical multiplayer title has an extensive range of killers on offer. These included some of the most renowned horror icons in popular culture, from Michael Myers to Freddy Krueger. One such icon is Leatherface, or Bubba Sawyer, from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise. As seen in new leaks, he has a new look – and he’s ready for dinner.

Dead by Daylight Leatherface ‘Pretty Lady’ skin revealed

Leatherface

Yes, the new skin for Leatherface is called “Pretty Lady,” with his human-skin mask glowing with blusher and lipstick.

Leatherface’s “Pretty Lady” skin was revealed by LeaksByDaylight. As per their deductions, the skin will release on September 30, so just next week. As with other skins in the game, it’ll cost 1080 Auric Cells to purchase. It’s not clear at this stage whether the skin will come with any additional bonuses. Since other Dead by Daylight skins are entirely cosmetic, it’s very unlikely.

The skin is a callback to the original 1974 film, where final girl Sally awakens at a nightmarish dinner table with the Sawyer family. Bubba Sawyer, or Leatherface, dons a cooking apron and heavily made-up face to mark the special occasion. This is where his new appearance originates from. His willingness to don makeup and cross-dress marks Leatherface as one of horror’s most unique killers. Therefore, it’s good to see that legacy honored in Dead by Daylight.

Leatherface is already quite the formidable killer in Dead by Daylight. Unsurprisingly, he’s wielding a grisly chainsaw, ready to rip survivors apart. His superhuman strength comes in the form of three perks: Knock Out, Barbecue & Chilli, and Franklin’s Demise. These let him seek out survivors more easily, where he can then take away their items to reset their progress. Therefore, his new look will make Leatherface an even more foreboding villain.
