Hell Let Loose PS5 and Xbox Series X S

Hell Let Loose brings realistic warfare to consoles next month

Hell Let Loose graduated from Steam Early Access earlier this summer, and now, the tactical WWII shooter is prepping for deployment on consoles. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S owners can battle in realistic European theatres of war starting next month. The Hell Let Loose PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions will then receive Stalingrad and Kursk maps, along with playable Soviet forces, in a free post-launch update.

When is the Hell Let Loose PS5 release date?

Hell Let Loose is launching for PS5 on Tuesday, October 5, 2021. The “hardcore” military shooter is coming to PlayStation 5 next month following a period of PC exclusivity.

Developer Black Matter and publisher Team17 have made no mention of a Hell Let Loose PS4 release date. Seemingly, the shooter isn’t heading for PlayStation 4 — looking at the impressive visuals, however, that isn’t all too surprising. Still, it’s disappointing news for anybody looking to play the community-acclaimed FPS game on previous generation hardware.

When is the Hell Let Loose Xbox Series X|S release date?

The Hell Let Loose Xbox Series X|S release date is October 5, 2021. The World War II shooter is coming to both new-gen Microsoft consoles early next month.

As with PS4, there’s no word on a Hell Let Loose Xbox One version coming out. In addition to boasting some nice graphics, the WWII FPS features large-scale 50 vs. 50 battles that play out alongside a resource-based metagame. Players battle it out in tanks and as infantry in an effort to manipulate a dynamically shifting front line, ultimately helping to turn the tides of war. It’s an ambitious premise that, seemingly, last-gen console hardware isn’t up to.

In other news, Sonic Colors Ultimate is full of bugs on Nintendo Switch — fortunately, the devs are working on a fix. FPS fans recently got their first glimpse of Battlefield Mobile, which is bringing the series to iPhone and Android devices. Additionally, God of War 2 and Gran Turismo 7 won’t be getting free PS5 upgrades.
