Fortnite Crew Legacy set lets subscribers level up their gear

The Fortnite Crew Legacy set has been revealed in leaks today, with the new feature for the battle royale game’s monthly subscription service having been shared via datamined information. This new Legacy set aims to reward continued subscribers, giving them gear that they can level up as they progress from month-to-month.

How to get Fortnite Crew Legacy set

The Fortnite Crew Legacy set can be obtained by subscribing to Epic Games’ monthly subscription service. This subscription can be purchased via the Epic Games Store right here.

Fortnite Crew typically gives members additional rewards such as new skins, bonus V-Bucks, along with full access to the current season’s Battle Pass. Now it’s adding the Legacy set, which appears to be exclusive to members of the service and won’t be obtainable elsewhere in the game.

The Fortnite Crew Legacy set is unique in that it can be leveled up between months. This means that subscribers will initially get access to a base set of skins for their back bling and pickaxe. These will be leveled up each month, upgrading the base set into something much more impressive-looking.

Active subscribers will have their Legacy set upgraded on the 14th of each month during their subscription. The Protocol Back Bling can be upgraded up to six times, eventually becoming the Protocol Ultimate Style. The pickaxe can be level up to four times, becoming the Zen Assault Axe Style.

In terms of cosmetics, these aren’t the flashiest skins that Epic Games has come up with. However, with each of them being customizable, they provide players with another way to stand out among an increasingly colorful crowd. It’s also likely that this sets Epic up for more Legacy sets along the way, though that could be a while yet given that it will take six months for this set to be fully upgraded.
