Dead By Daylight Stranger Things DLC

Dead By Daylight’s Stranger Things DLC will be removed later this year

The Dead By Daylight Stranger Things DLC is being removed from the popular horror multiplayer game later this year, developer Behaviour Interactive has announced. The DLC was added in September 2019 but it seems it was only a temporary crossover, unlike many of the licenses attached to the game. The Dead By Daylight Hawkins National Laboratory map will be removed entirely. So when will the Dead By Daylight Stranger Things map and more be removed?

When will the Dead By Daylight Stranger Things DLC be removed?

Dead By Daylight Stranger Things DLC

The Stranger Things DLC for Dead By Daylight will no longer be available for purchase as of November 17, 2021, developer Behaviour Interactive has announced.

This is the complete end date for the Stranger Things Hawkins National Laboratory map, which will no longer be available to play in general or custom maps. Unlike the Resident Evil DLC, where the Raccoon City map disappeared for a while but later returned, that was only because there were technical issues that got the map pulled — the Stranger Things map will be pulled permanently.

However, the good news is that anyone who bought the DLC will still have access to the Demogorgon killer and survivors Nancy Wheeler and Steve Harrington. Anyone who buys any of these three characters will still be able to play as them after the Stranger Things DLC ends in November, and Behaviour is putting all three on sale for 50% off from August 18 for the remainder of their time in the store, along with all their alternate outfits. Anyone who has any passing interest in playing these characters in Dead By Daylight but doesn’t own them already would be advised to pick them up, since after November 17 they’ll be gone forever.

Dead By Daylight continues to add new horror movie, TV, and gaming icons to its roster, with Hellraiser rumored to be the next in line.
