Behaviour Interactive is bringing the smash-hit Netflix show to its survival horror game, and you’ll definitely want to check it out. Dead by Daylight x Stranger Things | Launch date
We know that the Dead by Daylight x Stranger Things event is happening thanks to its YouTube reveal trailer, which you can see below. However, the announcement doesn’t give an indication of when we’ll be able to terrify our friends by playing as the Demogorgon.

That won’t stop us from speculating on when it’ll turn up in-game, though. The Stranger Things tie-in event is likely to be the next Chapter DLC that Dead by Daylight’s developer regularly brings out. If this is true, the Stranger Things Chapter DLC will be the 13th such DLC pack.
Chapters tend to get released every three months too. The last one, which introduced Ghost Face from the Scream movie franchise, launched on June 18. If Behaviour Interactive sticks to this release schedule, we’ll see Stranger Things come to the game in mid-September. We aren’t sure on what time it’ll be patched in, but we’ll let you know nearer to its release.
Dead by Daylight x Stranger Things | Playable characters
In terms of what new content you’ll get, the trailer tells you all that you need to know. The Demogorgon will arrive as the game’s latest playable killer, and there are two new survivors for you to get your hands on, too: Everyone’s favorite Stranger Things “dad” Steve Harrington and his ex Nancy Wheeler will both be playable.
The Hawkins National Laboratory Underground Complex will come to the game as a new map as well. We imagine those of you who’ll play as the Demogorgon will have a field day there, so hopefully it won’t be too long a wait to try it out.
