The Aliens: Fireteam Elite DLC roadmap has finally been pretty much laid out, as Cold Iron and Focus Home Interactive have confirmed that the Aliens co-op shooter coming out this month will receive at least a year’s extra post-launch content — which will all be included in the game’s Deluxe version. The Aliens: Fireteam Elite Deluxe Edition content will span four seasons worth of DLC, so here’s everything revealed about the new Aliens game’s support.
What’s included in the Aliens: Fireteam Elite DLC Roadmap?
The Aliens: Fireteam Elite post-launch DLC will include the following items, spanning a whole year of extra content that’s all included with the game’s Deluxe Edition:
- The Endeavor Pass is the all-access Season Pass, which includes four seasons of post-launch DLC content over at least a year.
- “Tons” of additional cosmetics to allow players to further customize their Marines and all the weapons, including “head accessories, weapon decals, weapon paints, armor skins, and emotes.”
- The Endeavor Veteran Pack contains further customization content for marines and weapons.
With the game out on August 24, this is the first confirmation of what post-launch content players can expect to see, and it’s great to hear that Cold Iron is planning on supporting Fireteam Elite with new DLC for at least a year. While it mostly seems to be about character customization, mostly, presumably the developer will also be adding new maps and levels too.
What is the Aliens: Fireteam Elite pre-order bonus DLC?
The pre-order bonus for Aliens: Fireteam Elite is the Hardened Marine Pack, which includes even more additional customization content for Marines and weapons, including extra kit skins and accessories. This pre-order DLC is available with both the Standard and Deluxe editions of the game, and that’s with both physical and digital releases of the game on all platforms. Don’t expect to see Aliens: Fireteam Elite on Nintendo Switch this month, however, as if that happens it’ll probably appear much later.
