Star Wars Battlefront 2 fans petition

Star Wars Battlefront 2 fans demand more DLC (and promise to buy it)

A group of Star Wars Battlefront 2 fans is demanding that EA DICE makes more content for the game, but they understand that it costs money to make these things. That’s why they’re also committing to buying paid Star Wars Battlefront 2 DLC in the hopes that this game can keep on going for a little longer.

If you weren’t one of the people who was recently drawn back into the game by a stellar 3x XP boost, you may have missed an important announcement about the future of Battlefront 2: the developers have announced that The Battle on Scarif is going to be the game’s last major content update.

Now, a group of fans have gotten together and are petitioning EA DICE to continue development according to ResetEra. They’re not asking for a handout, though; in fact, they’re entirely willing to pay for more fun.

Here’s what the petition says:

Star Wars: Battlefront II is one of the greatest video game redemption stories of all time. From a disastrous launch to a complete success, the transformation of the game is inspiring to all Star Wars fans and gamers alike. Unfortunately, the game was cut short while still having so much potential for wonderful new content. New maps, heroes, skins, etc. are a must for this game. All those who sign this petition would be willing to pay for new DLC to keep this awesome game alive.

We can’t say if it’s worth hoping that EA DICE will make this happen. Then again, Luke blowing up the Death Star was a pretty long shot, too. Check out the petition made by Star Wars Battlefront 2 fans and sign it if you’d like.
