Today marks the beginning of the Final Fantasy 14 Moonfire Faire event. This seasonal event started today, August 7, 2019 and will run until August 26, 2019. This seasonal event is designed to celebrate the arrival of summer and the blazing hot sun, with many festivities and fireworks crackling in the distance to set the mood.
The requirements to participate in the Final Fantasy 14 Moonfire Faire event are simple. Players only need to have a character of level 30 or more to try their luck at the eye-catching cosmetic prizes on offer, which include an inflatable kiddie pool.

To start the festivities, you must meet Mayaru Moyaru at the Limsa Lominsa’s Upper Decks. The coordinates are X11.5/Y13.8, in case you can’t find your way around. When you meet him, he will tell you all about what’s in store for this year’s Moonfire Faire. One of the things that you’ll experiment during this event is the return of the Eorzean Nimble Warrior course, which Square Enix revamped to provide even more thrills and acrobatic possibilities. This challenging course features many platforms and only the best players will be able to flawlessly complete it.
It wouldn’t be a summer event without a fishing challenge, but you can also partake in some culinary adventures if you so wish. Succeeding in these events may unlock some cool cosmetic prizes, with the highlight being the colorful Portable Pool, which you can fill with water. The Wind Chime Stand is another item that you can get at this event, perfect if you love the maddening sound of a dozen of wind chimes tinkling at once. There is also a Moonfire Faire Advertisement that you can proudly display and brag about to your friends.
There are a few clothing items to get as well, being the same for male and female characters. The awfully cute Moogle Masks and the Moonfire Happi are just a few of them. You can see all the prizes below or at the official Final Fantasy 14 Moonfire Faire event page.
