Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch Remastered

Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch Remastered and Switch port release date announced

After several leaks alluding to such a thing, Bandai Namco has confirmed that the Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch Remastered for PS4 and PC as well as the Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch Switch port are real. What’s more, it’s releasing sooner than you might think. Bandai Namco has also revealed the Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch Remastered release date and the Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch Switch port release date, both releasing on September 20, 2019.

Bandai Namco is bringing its classic Studio Ghibli co-created RPG to the PS4 and PC as a remaster, with better graphics and 4K resolutions on PC and PS4 Pro. It’s releasing as Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch Remastered. Meanwhile, the Switch is simply receiving a port of the original game. No bells and whistles attached for this one, sorry. You will get to play the classic JRPG on the go, however.

Bandai Namco took to Twitter to confirm the games and their release dates (both versions are releasing on September 20, 2019). You can check out the tweet and its accompanying trailer below:

Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch originally released in the West on PS3 only back in 2013. The Remastered edition on PS4 has upped its graphical output, without adding any new content. Standard PS4 owners will play the game in its updated 1080p 60 fps, whereas PS4 Pro owners will be able to choose between 1440p 60 fps or true 4K 30 fps. PC players will be able to choose whatever graphical settings they wish. The Switch version is a standard port, meanwhile. It plays in the game’s original 720p 30 fps in both docked and handheld modes.
