Elden Ring trailer

E3 2019 | Elden Ring trailer revealed, developed by From Software and Game of Thrones author

Elden Ring, the collaboration between developer From Software and Game of Thrones author George RR Martin, has now been revealed. During recent months, work on a secret game had been teased by the writer, with rumors pointing towards a title that would feature different kingdoms for the player to conquer. Well, the cat is now finally fully out of the bag, with Elden Ring being announced during the Microsoft E3 2019 conference. It’s set to launch on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

The new From Software game will be the developer’s “largest.” Elden Ring is a fantasy action-RPG adventure that tasks players with venturing into multiple kingdoms, with the aim of taking over that kingdom’s power.

The man behind the Elden Ring game world is Hidetaka Miyazaki, well known for his creation of the Dark Souls series. Therefore, expect a difficult experience when taking on the defenders of the various kingdoms. This will be a challenging fight, as Souls fans would expect and demand.

Then there’s George R. R. Martin, a man who’s no stranger to brutal tales of war. Game of Thrones surprised the readers and viewers at every turn, and so you can expect a tightly-woven narrative to add plenty of meaning to the ultimate goal of conquering all.

While Souls games have boasted deep-enough lore for those committed to paying attention and delving deep into the backstories of its characters, the talent (or at least the reputation) of George R. R. Martin should hopefully elevate Elden Ring beyond the “hardcore gameplay first” From Software releases. This is a potentially incredibly combination of wits. Here’s hoping we don’t have to wait long to see the result!

You can go ahead and give the Elden Ring reveal trailer a watch below. It’s all very mysterious, but should certainly cause a Souls’ fan’s ears to perk up!
