The Dead by Daylight Xbox Game Pass release date has been announced! Dead by Daylight is being joined by Metal Gear Survive, and six other games that are making their debut on Microsoft’s game subscription service. They’ll be joining the previous batch of eight games that were launched earlier in the month of May.
The headliner for this batch of games is the Dead By Daylight Xbox Game Pass debut as noted on Major Nelson’s blog. This game sees a group of survivors trying to evade a terrifying killer with supernatural powers in a unique asymmetrical PvP experience! Metal Gear Survive is also a pretty big name coming to the platform; players will be transported to an alternate Metal Gear universe where they’ll have to scrounge supplies, craft defenses, and fend off tons of deadly enemies!
Superhot brings a little action into the mix with an interesting first-person shooter mechanic — time only moves when you do, letting you unleash your inner John Wick! Full Metal Furies has you stringing together awesome organic combos to save the world from the bad guys! Void Bastards is a strategy shooter that has you leading a ship full of prisoners through the dangerous Sargasso Nebula. You’ll be able to further explore the stars in Outer Wilds (not to be confused with The Outer Worlds), an open-world mystery game that has you trapped in a time loop on a tiny planet.
The last two games are great for fans of indie games: The Banner Saga and The Banner Saga 2 will also be joining the Dead by Daylight Xbox Game Pass debut. These lovely little indie titles have you protecting a Viking caravan as they make an epic journey to avert a terrible cataclysm that threatens the land!
