Xbox Fall Showcase Will Feature New Game Pass Titles, Ghostbusters Gameplay

Microsoft has announced a new Xbox Fall Showcase that will be airing on both Twitch Gaming and Xbox Twitch channels on September 14. Focusing primarily on indie games through the ID@Xbox program, it will feature upcoming Game Pass titles, developer interviews, and gameplay footage of Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed. The pre-show for the stream will start at 9:30am PT / 12:30pm ET, with the main show scheduled a half-hour after that. The full show promises to be over 90 minutes of news and debuts.

What will be shown at the Xbox Fall Showcase

The pre-show will be hosted by Black Girl Gamers, self-described on its website as “a multi-platform and inclusive community-powered organization that keeps over 8000+ Black women gamers safe online.” The group will be presenting gameplay of Eville, a multiplayer game with “deception madness” by Versus Evil, the publisher of Pillars of Eternity II and The Banner Saga 3.

From there, the main show will provide updates on You Suck at Parking, which releases Day One on the same day as the showcase, and Metal: Hellsinger, which also releases Day One but a day later. It’s unknown what else they will show in terms of other Game Pass titles, but the list will likely include Hardspace Shipbreaker (releasing September 20), Beacon Pines (September 22), Slime Rancher (September 22), and Moonscars (September 27).

The last ID@Xbox showcase in March this year showed off Tunic, Trek to Yomi, Shredders, Immortality, and an announcement trailer for the wrestling RPG WrestleQuest. So in addition to the gameplay for Ghostbusters, we’re sure to see a solid catalog of games arriving before the holiday season. Xbox will be opening up the upcoming stream for other Twitch users to co-stream, so you’ll likely be able to watch the showcase on other popular channels on the network.

In other news, a Xbox Dashboard update has been revealed with the alpha test on Xbox Insider this week, and a new Battlefield narrative campaign will be led by Halo co-creator.
