Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled PS4 bundles

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled PS4 console bundles announced

Activision and Sony have teamed up for three Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled PS4 console bundles. Sony will release each of the Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled specially themed PlayStation 4 bundles around the time the game releases next month.

While Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled releases on multiple platforms this June, the game getting a bundle on PlayStation 4 isn’t a surprise. The Crash Bandicoot franchise is somewhat synonymous with the original PlayStation. Crash was as close as that console got to having a mascot in the vein of Super Mario or Sonic the Hedgehog.

Of the three PlayStation 4 bundles, two will come with one-terabyte hard drives, while the third comes with a 500 gigabyte hard drive. The more expensive of the two 1TB bundles will also come with 2 DualShock 4 controllers, while the 500GB bundle only includes one. All three come with physical copies of Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled.

For those who may be wondering, the actual PlayStation 4 consoles included with the bundles will be plain jet-black units, as are the DualShock 4 controllers included with them. They won’t be featuring any sort of Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled art at all.

Crash Bandicoot fans on PlayStation 4 will receive more than just the Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled PS4 console bundles. Activision and Sony are also giving PS4 players exclusive content in the form of retro-styled Crash, Coco, and Dr. Neo Cortex skins, alongside retro-themed karts for them to ride.

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled returns the long-awaited kart racer spinoff franchise back to the limelight. While it’s ostensibly a remaster of the original Crash Team Racing, developers Beenox stuffed in plenty of content offered in its sequels, alongside new features such as a customization mode, that altogether make the release seem more like a “greatest hits” version of the previous games. Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled arrives on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on June 21.
