Fans will soon be able to pre-order God of War Ragnarok for PS5 and PS4. There will be four editions to choose from, including the Collector’s Edition which bundles together a bunch of physical goodies. However, pre-orders for both the physical and digital versions of GoW Ragnarok are not yet live. Here’s the need-to-know information on when, where, and how to pre-order God of War Ragnarok this July.
When can I pre-order God of War Ragnarok?
God of War Ragnarok can be pre-ordered starting July 15.
As confirmed in a PlayStation Blog post, the new God of War game will be available to pre-order on July 15 at 10 AM local time or 10 AM ET for all of North America.
Where to pre-order God of War Ragnarok for PS5 and PS4
God of War Ragnarok can be pre-ordered digitally on the PlayStation Store or physically at video game stores.
As you might imagine, the Digital Deluxe Edition is only available from the PlayStation Store. On the other hand, the Collector’s Edition, which includes many physical items, will need to be ordered from a supported physical retailer. (We’ll update this post with the full list of retailers, as and when the information becomes available!)
Which edition of God of War Ragnarok should I pre-order?
Choosing which edition of God of War Ragnarok to pre-order will come down to two things: whether you want a digital or physical version, and what bonus items you are most enamored by.
God of War Ragnarok Launch Edition
Full game on either the PS4 or PS5 and the Kratos Risen Snow Armor and the Atreus Risen Snow Tunic (cosmetic).
God of War Ragnarok Standard Edition
The God of War Ragnarök Standard Edition (digital and physical) comes with the full game for either PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5.
