12 Minutes Of Dark Souls II Gameplay Enters The Mist







Namco Bandai and From Software took to IGN today to reveal the first gameplay footage of Dark Souls II, showing new areas, new enemies, and new items. I love the environments in and the use of light and shadow in this demo, but the enemies certainly continue to imp– goddammit! How the hell am I gonna fight back against one-hit axe-throwing trolls?

Normally publishers and developers don't want players to see all the different ways you'll die in game, but obviously death plays it's own role in Dark Souls, separate from any wishes the player might have. Here From Software shows off players getting run over, sandwiched, crushed, and thrown from a rope bridge.

Praise the sun! Heh, heh, right? I mean… obviously praising the sun is going to help….

Star Citizen will consist of two main components: first person space combat and trading in a massively multiplayer persistent universe and customizable private servers (known as Star Citizen), and a branching single-player game (known as Squadron 42).
