Assassin’s Creed: Revelations Officially Announced

Facebook may have let slip the next Assassin's Creed game's title, but Game Informer gets to take the announcement a step further with their recently released cover.

Apparently, Assassin's Creed: Revelations will intertwine the roles of Altair, Ezio, and Desmond. Ezio? The Italian dude? What's that all about:

Uncover a brand new part of the world as Ezio travels abroad for the first time to explore the wonders of Constantinople at the height of the Ottoman Empire.

I like Ezio… he doesn't afraid of anything and all that, but can't his old bones get a rest? He certainly looks older but I hope that Altair and Desmond get their fair shakes throughout the game. Part of what kept Ezio fresh in Brotherhood was that he wasn't the only character you were playing as. Game Informer will be keeping Assassin's Creed fans on a slow drip all month with more new AC info and media. Here's the cover:
