PES 2019 Arsenal Legends

PES 2019 Set to Receive Arsenal Football Club Legends Thanks to Extended Partnership

Konami has announced that it has officially extended its standing partnership with Arsenal Football Club. As a result of being Arsenal FC’s Official Football Video Game Partner for the second year in a row, PES 2019 will be receiving several legendary football players from the football club’s rich 132 years of history.

The official Konami UK Twitter account revealed the news in a post earlier today. Several Arsenal FC legends will be coming to Pro Evolution Soccer 2019, which include the likes of Robert Pires, Sol Campbell, Gilberto SilvaFreddie Ljungberg & Emmanuel Petit. At the time of writing, the release date for these legends from the long history of the Gunners has not been specified.

Thanks to this extended deal between Konami and Arsenal FC, PES 2019 players can look forward to seeing almost perfect recreations of the football club’s players. That’s not all, as the iconic Emirates Stadium will also be recreated with extensive detail to attention. Arsenal FC Chief Commercial Officer Vinai Venkatesham gave a statement on the ongoing partnership in the press release.

“We are delighted to be continuing with KONAMI as a global partner of Arsenal and one that captures the essence of our club within PES 2019,” he said. “We are excited to be offering our fans the opportunity to experience both the players and Emirates Stadium so accurately within the game once again this year, while also having the unique opportunity to call on some legends in our proud history to bring the game to life.”

PES 2019 was recently released worldwide for the PS4, Xbox One and PC on August 30, 2018. Mobile versions of the game for Android and iOS platforms will be released later this year in December 2018. We gave it a rating of four out of five in our review, describing the game as “a master class in how to transfer a beloved sport into video game format.”
