PES 2019 Data Pack 2.0 Announced, Adds New Leagues

Konami has announced the release date for its PES 2019 Data Pack 2.0. The free update will be available to download on October 25, and comes with a raft of new additions and slight improvements to the soccer game. Among the notable inclusions are the addition of the fully licensed Chinese Super League and Thai League, with their respective clubs and logos added to PES 2019.

The reveal was made public on the official PES Twitter account, with more information available on the game’s website. As well as the addition of these Asian leagues, new PES partner club AS Monaco will see their Stade Louis II ground fully realized in the title, with day and night options available to use as a backdrop to matches. The new eFootball Pro Arena, used for PES 2019 esport events, will also be implemented when the patch drops later this month.

Over 100 player faces will also be implemented or improved in the PES 2019 Data Pack 2.0 update, such as Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso, Liverpool midfield Gini Wijnaldum, and Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi. A new range of soccer boots from manufacturers Nike, Puma, and adidas will be added into PES 2019 for players to choose from as well.

Finally, updates to AI performance during games and other under the hood tweaks will be added. These improvements include better AI goalkeeping during 1v1 events, better logic from CPU controlled teams, changes to passing style from CPU controlled sides, adjusting the accuracy of certain shots such as chip shots, and much more.

PES 2019 is available now on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. It is available in two physical editions, with Barcelona star Philippe Coutinho or soccer legend David Beckham adorning the front cover. The David Beckham edition gives players extra bonuses for their myClub mode in PES 2019, as well as other cool little features.
