PSN Returns This Week, Free PS+ And Qriocity For All

Now that we're so close to being back online, Sony felt it was time to make clear how they're going to make 75 Million PlayStation Network accounts faithful after so much has been lost. We're talking freebies, and lots of them!

First, Kaz and the boys at Sony Japan made it clear that only some features of the PSN would be back online within the next week. Stuff like online multiplayer will be first priority in getting PlayStation 3s back online. The last piece of the puzzle, the PlayStation Store will be back in mid-may. The feature roll out does come with some perks though.

Sony will be giving all users a free month of PlayStation Plus and Qriocity Music Service. If you're already subscribed to these, you'll have a month added on to your subscription.

What hasn't yet been detailed is the free download PlayStation users will be given for their troubles. Content will be region specific so keep your ears out for the break down in the coming days. I'm kicking myself for not having a Japanese PSN account signed up and registered to my PS3.
