Persona 5: Dancing In Starlight and Persona 3: Dancing In Moonlight were originally slated to release in early 2019, but there is good news for Persona 5 and Persona 3 fans. The two dancing games have in fact been bumped to the earlier release date of December 4, 2018, on the PS4 and PlayStation Vita and will now also come with a new limited edition.
Persona 5: Dancing In Starlight and Persona 3: Dancing In Moonlight will be available as standalone releases on PS4 both digitally and physically for $59.99 each. While the PS Vita versions of the games will be digital only for $39.99. Atlus has also announced a limited edition of the two games called the Endless Night Collection.
This will include both the Persona 5 and 3 dancing games physically, along with 2015’s Persona 4: Dancing All Night via a digital download. The PS4 version of this collection will be the first time the Persona 4 dancing game has been on the console and will include a hardcover book, all for $99.99. The PS Vita version of the collection will be digital only, so will not include the hardcover book and will retail for $69.99.
Persona 3: Dancing In Moonlight and Persona 5: Dancing In Starlight were initially announced for the west earlier this year with the slated release of “Early 2019”. Both games were released in Japan May 4 as Persona 3: Dancing Star Night and Persona 5: Dancing Moon Night with a similar limited edition. The Japanese releases also saw crossover DLC with other Sega properties. Persona 5: Dancing In Starlight received costumes for its characters based around the Yakuza (or in Japan Ryu Ga Gotoku), along with a Sonic costume for Morgana. Persona 3: Dancing In Moonlight on the other hand received costumes based around Virtua Fighters for its characters.
There is currently no announcement or news on whether if or when these DLC costumes will be available to download in the West.
